A Fresh Creative Journey for 2026

It’s time for a fresh start in 2026, a time of rebuilding creativity, crafting and confidence. It’s been a little while since my last crafting blog post and creative update. Following the passing of my father, 2025 became a year of loss, reflection, and slowly finding my way back to creativity. During that time, crafting and blogging took a back seat, and returning to my creative routine felt more daunting than I expected.

A Season of Reflection and Healing

Through this season, I’ve learned an important lesson: nothing changes until you take the first step. Writing this blog post is that step for me. As I move into 2026, I’m embracing hope, gentle progress, and new beginnings, and I’m excited to share more of my creative journey with you.

Taking the First Step Back to Blogging and Crafting

Starting again can feel intimidating, especially in social media and online crafting communities, where everything often appears effortless. In reality, behind every polished project or post are years of learning, practice, and perseverance. Whether you’re returning to crafting or starting something new, growth happens gradually and with patience.

Why Consistency Builds Creative Confidence

My word in the future is consistency. Showing up regularly—even in small ways—makes a meaningful difference. One of the reasons I love Stampin’ Up! so much. It offers incredible flexibility, allowing you to enjoy papercrafting and card making as a hobby or gently grow it into something more. There’s no pressure—just creativity that fits around your life.
